Fresh Atlantic Salmon Fillets
Taste of freshness with Canadian Atlantic salmon fillets. Our salmon are sustainably farmed in the cold, clear waters of the North Atlantic located in Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick. Skin-on, scaled, boneless fillets, aquaculture. Sold in pound increments. These Salmon are raised on a diet from sustainable sources and are hormone, antibiotic, and pesticide free.
Preheat your oven to 400F. Lightly coat your salmon in butter, oil, or cooking spray. When baking your salmon in the oven, cook for at least 10 minutes for every 1 inch of thickness. This is very important.
In a hot frying pan, place fillet skin side down and cook until skin is crisp, 2-3 minutes. Flip and finish cooking when the salmon appears to be cooked about 3/4 of the way up from the bottom of the pan. Cook the Salmon until it just starts to flake when pricked with a fork. Either way, be careful not to overcook. There’s nothing worse than a dry piece of fish. We prefer our salmon cooked to medium.
